What is Rainscreen Cladding? Rainscreen cladding is the attachment of an outer skin of rear-ventilated cladding to a new or existing building.
Metalline’s Unity A1 Rainscreen Cladding
Our Aluminium Rainscreen Cladding Panels are produced using a solid aluminium substrate that can be fitted as either a cassette or as a flat faced panel fixed onto an appropriately designed support framework.
The range includes a floor to floor framing system, a through fix rainscreen system, a discrete fix framing rainscreen system, an interlocking rainscreen system, a secret fix rainscreen system and an interlocking plank and soffit system.

Finishes
Our high performance Unity Rainscreen Cladding Panels can either be anodised or colour coated using a continuous coil-coating process.
Coil Coated Aluminium
The continuous coil-coating process uses high performance paint systems which are known for their superior quality, high resistance to UV, weather, seawater and industrial pollution.
It produces an excellent colour consistency and is predominantly the material of choice for external architectural applications.
High quality paint systems can be applied in 2, 3 or 4 paint layers in all RAL colours, EURAS anodised colours, patina, stone, zinc, wood and iridescent effect finishes in all gloss levels. A full colour matching service is available upon request.
Anodised
Anodising enriches the natural abilities of aluminium. It guarantees a strong contemporary finish that is tough, durable and corrosion resistant. A range of colours are available including natural silver, black, bronzes from light to dark, regency gold 1&2 plus, specialist Anolok blue-grey and stone-grey.

HMRC REGIONAL HUB
The new HMRC regional hub at the Arena Central complex in Birmingham will, when completed provide over 240,000, sq ft of grade A commercial space over its ground and 13 upper floors. The building which is due for completion in 2020 features an external envelope of geometric glass and aluminium facades that create an iconic feature to this area of central Birmingham.

3 GLASS WHARF, TEMPLE QUARTER BRISTOL
The new build £75m project is part of the regeneration of the Temple Quarter enterprise zone in the city and includes a new office development at 3 Glass Wharf. The office building which will be occupied by HMRC, features a shimmering external envelope with an amalgamation of glazed units and rainscreen panels finished in a palette of champagne and sea foam green. The result is an external facade that creates a symmetry with both the surrounding buildings and its proximity to the riverside area.
