Metalline proudly announce main sponsorship of the Façade Awards 2021

Metalline, the UK’S principle fabricator of BOTH non-combustible aluminium Rainscreen and non- combustible aluminium insulated Spandrel panels, all fully tested and certified to Class A1 rating, is proud to be supporting the RCI Façade Awards 2021 as a main sponsor and celebrate of the very best in façade design across the UK from the past year.

 

About the Awards

Bought to you by the publishers of RCI magazine, and in partnership with the Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association (MCRMA), this year’s event will focus on raising awareness of the critical role façades play in modern architecture. The award categories will look to reward excellence
in façade design and promote the importance of collaboration between product manufacturers and contractors.

Whilst this is the first year Metalline is sponsoring the awards, they believe that at such a crucial time for manufacturers and contractors alike, promotion of the industry and its achievements is imperative for the industry to grow with confidence. Darron Brough, Managing Director for Metalline, said “With the challenges businesses have faced over the last 18 months, it is important that we continue to support the Facades industry and celebrate the achievements of product manufacturers and contractors. We look forward to hearing how other companies have adapted during this difficult time and perhaps identify as an industry how we can continue to support each other.”

 

Shortlisted Projects

In addition to sponsoring the Awards, Metalline have also been shortlisted for 2 projects. The first category Metalline have been shortlisted for is “Best use of a rainscreen system using aluminium” . The project shortlisted in this category is “Project Apple – HMRC Regional Hub” which features an external envelope of geometric glass and aluminium facades that create an iconic feature within its surroundings.

Metalline have also been shortlisted for “Outstanding contribution of the year”. Darron’s ethos of providing outstanding products and excellent service has always been prominent to the success of Metalline. As Managing Director, Darron ensures the company will continue to provide both qualities in equal measure.

The in-person awards ceremony will be taking place on 19 November at The Midland Hotel in Manchester and will give those attending the opportunity for some long overdue networking, as we comfortably gather the way events used to be.
